Poketalia is an RP forum that brings together the fantastic characters of Hetalia into a Pokemon Universe Setting-- specifically that of the games, though Anime and Film verses do exist.
Pokemon battles…thought to be the centre of the Pokemon World has been shut down. The gyms have closed and it seemed like things really had gotten better. Wrong. Gangs grew more active, especially Rocket Industries which is one the top of the power pyramid, power toppling all other organisations in their respective regions. Pokemon battling was still as active as ever, running underground illegally with Rocket running the "League." The death toll rose upon the millions, between people and Pokemon Those that survived fought back and convinced those high ups to reinstate Pokemon competitions as an organised sport, effectively ending the endless bloodshed that forever changed the Pokemon World.
It is a world in which Pokemon trainers of all kinds test their abilities to trust, succeed, and persevere under the guise of the Ultimate Pokemon League Competition. In a time after Pokemon Battle has been relegalised, new Gym leaders have stepped forward to replace those of before and the best of the best, must be found as diamonds in the rough, having been hidden under the rubble of 10 years without order.
Meanwhile those organisations that had been booted by the Rockets won their power struggle, as the team lost their upper hand with the reinstating of the Pokemon League. With new leaders, they begun to plan their revenge on the world by finally going threw with their respective plans of world dominations, disturbing the balance that the legendaries of their respective regions brought to them.
Will you become the best trainer in the world? Will you defend a world given a second chance, or choose to destroy it?
